Specific Skills and Knowledge:

Oracle Database installation and configuration: DBAs should be able to install, configure, and patch Oracle databases or mongoDB on various platforms.
Performance tuning: DBAs need to be able to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in Oracle databases or mongoDB. This includes optimizing SQL queries, indexing tables, and managing memory and storage resources.
Backup and recovery: DBAs are responsible for implementing and managing backup and recovery procedures to protect data from loss or corruption.
Security: DBAs need to ensure that Oracle databases or mongoDB are protected from unauthorized access and data breaches. This includes implementing security measures such as user authentication, encryption, and auditing.
High availability: DBAs may be responsible for configuring and managing high availability solutions, such as Data Guard and RAC, to ensure that databases remain accessible in the event of a failure.
Cloud database management: As more organizations move their databases to the cloud, DBAs need to be familiar with cloud-based database services, such as Oracle or MongoDB Autonomous Database.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
